If you are printing with an Inkjet you should have no problems just
converting to an RGB format like Adobe 1998 and printing straight from that.
I have images in my book printed with the Epson 1290 from both CMYK and RGB
sources and the printer handles both with more than adequate results. RGB
will simply make in any adjustments a little easier if you wish to make
changes before going to print and from what I have seen the only conversion
problems occur when converting certain colours from RGB to CMYK and then
going to press.
