Dear list - thanks for all the helpful suggestions. I have now reduced
Photoshop's memory allocation, and it seems like that was all there was
to it. I also quit Photoshop after loading my actions and voil�...! Now
my custom actions finally stay put in the palette. It was just the
frequent crashes that made them disappear all the time. So now I feel
really stupid - it almost makes me wish the problems were a little bit
more complex so I would'nt look so silly... :-) Will also try Macaroni
to run maintenance routine, just to be on the safe side. Thanks again!
