There has been a lot of flack about AOL recently and (I never thought I

Nick,

I do hope you dont mean my original posting was 'flack' :)

Merely a simple 'how to' question.

I think from some of the replies, that I need to repeat that the problem is, our chap cant see the files he sends home to his aol account

FYI we nearly lost a job with a first time digi user client about 2 years ago, as we confidently said we could shoot and e.mail for approval etc..'course the first e.mail failed and so on for a day or so until we e.mailed to our clients agency who thankfully were next door to them and proved the problem lay with their aol account.

I think we did find a solution, but it was one which I didnt take note of so.......

Thanks to all those who offfered suggestions, he will be trying them out tonight

as an aside, a couple of people here have been setting up a macs at home for aol or freeserve a task which seems to have been full of problems, (the main one being that you have to speak to their one member of staff who deals with mac related problems) which none of the various help lines seem to be able to sort...ie setting your apple modem to "hayes" instead of the actual apple one installed....course you are supposed to know that.
