>> As I shoot quite a lot of my work now digitally on a Canon D60, I have the EXIF information ( Camera, date, shutter speed, exposure etc. etc.) recorded as well. This information is handy for my image data base etc. so I want the camera record it. My problem is, when I want to send the file to a client they can read all this info if they have PS7, which may not be desirable. If they have PS6 there is no facility to read such data. <<
There are free plugs for this (before photokit pixelgenius gave us metareader): http://www.pixelgenius.com/primer/metadata_primer.htm http://www.pixelgenius.com/metareader.html This does work with v6, so I would qualify the above with - 'If they have PS6 there is no _native_ facility to read such data'. <g> There are also stand alone apps as well, so even if using v5.x or earlier you do not have to miss out on exif.
