Good Morning ! I'm experiencing difficulty with scanner noise in a Umax 2100XL (SCSI). Its a recent problem with this scanner - I've checked earlier scans and noise like this is not present. I have changed nothing on my system just before noticing the noise. So far I've rebooted the Mac (OS9.2.2/G3B&W) with just required extensions to operate this scanner only. Checked there are no leads crossing the path of the SCSI cable, and that said cable is firmly connected at both ends. All non relevant leads from back of Mac (not to do with scanner operation) have been removed. Is there anything else I can be doing to help the situation ? Many thanks, David
