Dear All, Thanks for the replies so far. As I'm not the sharpest when it comes to maths related activity, just checking I've understood properly.
What I've so far done with this file is scan it at 4000/14bit giving a file size of 194.3mb. Pix dimensions (in Image Size) are 5826 at 100%. Doc size is 1.45 ". I would then re size to 300ppi, put the % of pix dimensions back up to 100% giving a doc size of 19.42 inches. File size still is 194.3mb. If I understand correctly I don't really need to do anything new. Sorry if this is a dumb interpretation.
