How have you got your System Preferences set for Hardware > CDs & DVDs?
There are a few options that you can play with.
Haven't as yet tested the autoStart feature for OS X specific CDs but that's
mainly because I don't believe in making autoStart CD's for Mac users
(unless pushed by a client). Windows users are more used to autorun...not
all, obviously.
