I've checked the options in OS X and it won't change a thing. If you go to
insert any of those Photoshop tutorials for example that run perfectly in OS
9 and rely on auto start you won't get a thing in OS X. I've found that you
can open the individual movies, but you'll lose the surrounding menu
functions allowing you to select one tutorial or another.

Quote from one company that makes these:
Q&A
Why won't the Program auto-start?
Our CDs are made to auto-start, but some CD players, systems and virus
checkers may interfere with this function. If so, go to your desktop or
computer directory to find our CD and launch the application with "Prog"
at the end of the file name. OS X does not currently support the auto-start
feature.

Its going to be the same story with the web site on a CD and of course many
clients running Macs will now be on OS X. Recently I put together an emailer
using complex Html X that looks good and works well, but I am weary of
sending it to clients for fear of looking like a spammer.
