There are several ISPs that do help, and understand the Mac OS (9&10).
Mac problems seem quite common when people try to connect at home.
Last month it was Freeserve and AOL who were very unhelpful with one of our guys, even when passed on to the one person they seemed to have who was a mac "specialist'
I would have thought that America On Line especially would expect some subscribers to be mac users.
One trick apparently was to select a hayes modem rather than the installed apple one which you would expect.
It would seem that everything on a mac is simple or should I say obvious ? apart from internet connections.
