[PRODIG] Re: whats the deal with Digi kit in NYC?

HI all,

Can anyone tell me what the deal is with buying kit in NYC? A colleague has offered to pick up some kit for me. I'm unclear on the deal re warranties and servicing etc.

Also does any one know any about a replacement to the D1X (must be abut time what with Canon and Kodak streaking ahead in terms of spec)

Finally is there anything I should be aware of before buying kit in NYC and posting the boxes home! and does anyone have any recommendations re shops.
