[PRODIG] Raw converter work for Fujifulm S2 Pro camera?

By way of introduction, I am a free-lance shooter from rural Wisconsin (commercial, stock, fine art) about to make the apparently inevitable leap into the digital shooting world with the purchase of a Fujifilm S2 Pro camera, at least until I can afford the Kodak 14n, and Kodak can get the bugs worked out of it.    I expect to shoot a lot of raw files to maximize my quality options and was planning to purchase the optional raw file converter software, since dpreview.com says the standard equipment converter software isn't much good. My question for the forum relates to the discussion of  the Adobe Plug-in/upgrade to PS8. Anybody tried it with the S2, or know if this software will preclude my having to buy the Fuji EX Converter at extra cost? Are there any other options?   Ron Reimer
