We need to save a large number of images for the web, each having a 13 digit original number, plus we need to add e.g. 123_lc_1_s.jpg
I would suggest that you use the batch rename feature in the Photoshop 7 File Browser.
The batch rename dialog allows you to assign a two, three or four name serial number. But what if you want to add to an existing number sequence? Instead of choosing the serial number option, enter #027# for example if you want the first number to begin with 027.
Hi Martin,
The batch rename in the browser, I understand, but I want to be able to add the digits shown above to a 13 digit number, and save for web, for around 8,000 images.
The options seem to be there in PS in > save for web>edit output settings, but when I enter the info into the fields, it doesnt actually change the file names.
Someone is looking at it this morning, maybe we can create a droplet that will do it ?
thanks
