Thanks Ian, The web images were poor, indeed. I had been hoping that this was down to 'operator error'. I am not cancelling my order yet, though. When it finally arrives I'll give it a thorough test and then we'll know. If I don't like it, I'll just send it back as being 'not fit for the purpose'.
