Hi All

It's wonderful that you Win users are discovering the delights of multiple screens, and I really do not mean that as any sort of Win put down. Many of us Mac users have been down that path for some time, and as Richard knows, I am myself well down the multi LCD screen path, now running 2 x 20" Apple Cinema displays and a 17" Apple LCD from my G4, giving in total 57" lateral display. It may sound like overkill but as I am primarily a web designer I do tend to end up using multiple apps concurrently and being able to have a working window, menus, a reference window (word, powerpoint, pdf or whatever) plus another screen for e-mail, browsers, music, whatever, all viewable at the same time, is just amazing. I do however hope the neck-ache will wear off <g>.

I've gone from 2 to 3 screens in the last month and I have to say that I have found my productivity - well at least my temper - has improved immensely as I can find things so much more quickly. I have an enormous amount of extra (physical) desk space, my office will not be so hot in the summer, and I find it much more restful on my eyes.

I have migrated my larger CRT's to other tasks but now have 2 (to my mind now enormous in bulk) 17" CRTs sitting on the floor getting in the way, and not worth a lot.

Any offers?

For what I do, multi screen LCD's is the way.

Richard, Yes indeed it is no problem and I fully intend to replace my older
CRT 21" with one of the trendy new LaCie 20" LCDs which will ease life for
my eyes when trying to read text.
