My mistake - S-Spline 2 is also available for classic Mac and OS X - so if you are seriously looking into GF then I would suggest running some test images through both and comparing the results. http://www.s-spline.com/ Unlike GF, I have not tested output with S-Spline - but onscreen they are near identical when testing up to 400% resize.
