There are slight differences in the RGB > CMYK conversion engines between one model of a printer when compared to another. Slight, but not really significant. True gamut limits are dependent on the type of ink and paper used. Control (ie: mapping) of colour gamut is entirely dependent upon making a custom colour profile for a specific printer/ink/paper combination. This is called The Holy Grail:) > My prints from the epson 2100 seem to be deeply lacking in color compared to > ones from photo labs. You need a custom colour profile <G> Hope this helps William Curwen http://www.william.ws PS: "you cannot be optimistic with a misty optic". =============================================================== GO TO http://www.prodig.org for ~ GUIDELINES ~ un/SUBSCRIBING ~ ITEMS for SALE
