I am not alone saying my heart goes out to you!

Dear liisa and Nick,

Well got half of the data back thorugh not being awake. I realised that
I still had files in my recyle bin and one of my microdrives had not
been formatted so that rescued the Monday. The Job from Sunday is still
in for recovery with a specialist. He is hopeful he can recover the
data.

I was just instage two of setting up a double data backup scheme. So I
have two external usb2 hard drives and when I come in I have one set on
each of what I have done while its waiting to get burn't. So now my
policy is to have my second onternal drive with one copy of the raw
files fom the day on internal drive one, then one copy on external drive
1, then on internal drive 1 save workinf files for that project and then
at the end of the day save the working files to the second external
drive. So at the end of the day I have raw files and working on one
drive, then raw files on external one and a back up of the workig files
onexternal drive 2. So at least then there is such an unlikely scenario
that all three will go down like this again.

Bloody computers

Thanks for your suggestions again.

cheers

Ian Reynolds
