Bob,

These cameras have actually already been in use by the Coalition forces in Iraq. They are aboard drones disguised as pigs, furthermore to assist in being able to avoid capture they are equipped with jet propulsion units known as Fast Auto Redirect Thrust motors which can also produce noxious fumes to incapacitate those people with whom they come into close contact. I am told on reliable authority that the last of these to be deployed in a search for Saddam Hussein in Baghdad will be launched at 12 noon GMT.

Hi Y'all.

Has anybody else picked up on the intriguing announcement at the recent
European Digital Production show held in Seville?

Apparently there is yet another camera company entering the fray with a
'one box ' solution for digital capture. , but this one is using yet more
cutting edge technology based around specialist lens design and chip
architecture.

The lenses are to be manufactured in a way that mimics those seemingly
impossible bi-focal contact lenses that are available from all opticians
now.

With the contact lenses , the lens is constructed with a series
microscopic concentric circular fresnel lenses. Each alternate ring
represents one focal length, and by a slight adjustment of the eyes focus
, you can get either near sight or far sight correction.

The as yet unnamed manufacturers claim to have produced a lens that
expands on this technology using fractal algorithm design . Combined with
some exceedingly complex capture software , this enables an image to be
captured at several different focal lengths at the same time.
