I cannot make comment about Nikon noise except to say that the 14n I used was much better than the Kodak 760. Ask your dealer what version firmware he is using. I shot with 14n last weekend with very latest downloaded when i collected camera and i thought it was very clean. I know Kodak did an upgrade some time last week and even now they are changin some things as have just been sent beta version of some software. Why don't you also suggest to your dealer that if people cannot see the problems for themselves then they cannot make comment and get them improved. I am actually picking my very own toy up tomorrow so will be in better position to make more comment next week but I was pleased with what I saw. Probably rash buying it now but feel that as basic body is a body is a body and the real results come from firmware would like to be part of any immediate development process to maske sure it produces what we need. Besides which don't really have much choice as am so heavily equipped with Nikkor lenses that just cannot afford the switch. No-one has had more fun over the years from bashing Kodak than I have but I have also found that within that great white elephant house in Hemel hempstead there are some good guys who get a real buzz of trying to do thigns well. So borrow the camera from your dealer and get your comments in - that way we get a better and stronger product.
