Having read a thread after running a search for "knoll" who developed the software
<http://forums.dpreview.com/forums/read.asp?forum=1019&message=4631683> The developer himself didn't seem too opposed to the idea of changing the code as described by a user. It should however be pointed out that this hack appears to be achieved by using the settings that were created for the D30 or D60, so they will not be optimized for the 10D itself. Personally, I am getting very good results from Canon's own File Viewer Utility although its not the fastest software in the world on my G4 400MHz and the Adobe Raw Conversion plug-in should run rings around it for speed. I'd like to run a side by side test against the Adobe software for quality, but as there is no demo, I don't feel like spending money on software that I would then have to hack just to get it to work with my camera and as I've never tried anything like that I may not get it to work at all in which case it would be money and time down the drain. I very much doubt if you could count on any support from Adobe either at that point. Either way, the 10D is wonderful!
