I have a file with 8 layers. I did a transform on the top layer and hit ENTER. I'm left with a dotted line transform boundary which won't go away.
I know I probably don't need to ask, but have you tried hitting 'Escape'?
Panic over. I just discovered I'd checked something called 'Show Bounding Box'. Duh....
