Some text, not all. It depends entirely how the PDF file was originally designed. I have just tried and although I can select text when I copy and paste in a sample document some of it doesn't paste. Strangely the text in a barcode copies OK but a very common Helvetica doesn't paste in its straight form but does when bold, even at an angle.

I did assume in my original answer that the object of the edit was to end up with a corrected PDF. If not why not just go to the original text? Surely no one types into Acrobat?
