A: You may be working on a layer different than the one the spec is on.
B: Some brushes, filters, etc, do not function on 16bit file types.
C: If you move your file and the spec moves it's your monitor.
D: If you move your head and spec moves it's in your eye or on your glasses.
E: Short between the chair and the keyboard.
F: All of the above.
