I have just bought a refurbished Epson 7000 to use with Piezography. I was knocked out by a Piezography print I saw in the US. The quality of Piezography prints are comparable to silver (IMHO) and have no metamerism or metachromatism. I found that both Lyson Quad Black and the Epson Ultrachrome had metamerism which was unacceptable for fine art work where people inevitably make comparisons with silver gelatin prints.
Its hard to get ones head around it without seeing a print in the flesh which isn't that easy as they are rather rare in the UK. Heres the plug... I have a 30x40" print plus two smaller ones in an exhibition opening today at the Century Gallery. Prodiggers in London are welcome to come to the private view this evening from 6:30 to 9:00 at the Gallery at 3, Cremer Street, Hoxton near Old Street tube. The location and details of the exhibition are at www.centurygallery.org.uk Cheers Paul Freeman www.architecturalimages.co.uk m: +44 (0)7973 165 360 -- ____________________________________________________ Message scanned for viruses and dangerous content by <http://www.newnet.co.uk/av/> and believed to be clean =============================================================== GO TO http://www.prodig.org for ~ GUIDELINES ~ un/SUBSCRIBING ~ ITEMS for SALE
