You can include dirt cleaning in an action.

Identify the worst spots as described.
Start recording the action.
Set measurement unit to pixels.
Make an elliptical marquee selection.
Duplicate that selection over the spot.
Repeat for each spot, and deselect at the end.

The only time this is noticeable is when the spot lies near a dramatic
change in density, eg duplicating a white shirt over a dark jacket, in
which case the spot could have been left alone.

I used to run this action as a matter of course, but now just spot where
visible and clean more regularly.
