John Have a look at the Sony DPP-MP1. You can run it off a battery and it makes Polaroid-sized prints about as quick as a conventional Polaroid, but MUCH better quality. Connects to your PC or Mac with as USB lead. I've used it a lot on location and it's been trouble free.
