Does anyone know of any plain simple clear unambiguous instructions for using VueScan?
I cannot make head nor tail of the online VueScan guide. I can tell that it� s trying to be helpful, but the writer has no comprehension of the depth of my ignorance. For example no amount of re-reading has got me to grasp the difference between the scanning and processing stages. It is not clear to me whether I have actually saved raw data or something else. I have no idea what to put into some of the options boxes, or how to make the right decisions from the options available, and much else that needs to be explained. >From what I have read on this forum I�m sure this software is capable of brilliant results but my scans look sad.
