Checked the image I originally was querying using the PRP histogram. Despite having visually a reasonable slice off both ends, the "Iced" and "burned" pixls were no more than 0.1% and 0.05% respectively. If the 1% latitude is a good guide for being "unsuitable for professional use" I've still got a bit more to play with!
