Its good old OS9. You can always re-install the system, without loosing any
data. Do not Panic (Mr Mannering).

When you say you've done a "search" for the system folder. What do you mean
exactly? It shouldn't be that hard to find, it should live at the top level
of the main hard drive. i.e. double click on the hard drive, and there it is
(use list view). If its not, then what have you done with it?  :-)

If you trashed it by mistake, don't worry too much, like I said, just
reinstall it from your original disk. Remember to use software update
afterwards, to bring everything upto date.
