I don't know what your setup is, or what you've been doing, or if other people have been using the computer....but sounds like its in the trash, which is something that's not supposed to be possible.

OR....its on the desktop.

G4 running OS9.2: machine tells me that it has cannot find the System Folder
and I must not shut-down as will not be able to re-start. I have done a
search for "System Folder" and there is no response. However if I look for
anything contained within the Folder it can find it and gives me hierarchy
of << MaC HD - System Folder - >> with 'System Folder' greyed out - clearly
the folder is still around but has become invisible.
