just for once I'm going to dip my feet into the "what size for repro"
pond .
I have produced 48 sheet posters from 45 mb files, I have just had
printed some 5 foot by 1 foot posters from interpolated 7.5 mb files from a
nikon D1 and have experienced no quality problems from my end or the
clients.
I also won the last DIG capture awards with an A3 print from an
approximate 2mb file interpolated from the nikon D1.
If you can shoot or interpolate a file that will print to your
satisfaction the size u require then that's what u need. Test the
enlargement quality on your own printer , if its good enuff for you then its
good enuff for them.
