Hi all, thanks for your input You are right it is a known issue, and It's not the problem. More I think to do with no supported drivers for OS X from Nikon. It is the only device on the chain and is terminated. System profiler is seeing the scsi card but not the scanner plugged into it. Just thought I'd check before giving up just in case it is possible to get it going.
