Surely there is no good reason to be running 10.2.3 ?

Upgrade to 10.2.6 the current release. It has been very stable, for me and
I've not seen any warnings otherwise.

OSX is a fast developing platform, there are major (they seem minor)
differences between the early versions, there is no good reason that I have
come across not to be upto date with them.

Always check http://www.macfixtit.com before upgrading, as they will give
indications as to any potential problems.
