Thanks, Barry - I had intended getting electric/electronic shutters, but, with a wide angle there may not be room to use one that is not mounted in shutter. Resolution is a problem if you use an LF lens on one small CCD, but if you use the digiback in low res mode and tile to record a 10 * 8 image in sections, resolution should not be a problem, and I hope to get wide angle digital images not obtainable any other how. You need an elec shutter for a multi-shot image, but for a multi-image shot, could I not use two cable releases, or a double cable release? With a digital Hasselblad, presumably you attach the release to the Hasselblad, and it talks to the digiback, and fires the shutter at the right time. If you use a digiback on a Sinar, I assume you attach the release to the digiback, and it then fires the shutter electronically when it is ready... so if you set a long shutter speed, could you fire a manual shutter during the time that the digiback thinks the shutter is open? =============================================================== GO TO http://www.prodig.org for ~ GUIDELINES ~ un/SUBSCRIBING ~ ITEMS for SALE
