Take one black Plastic dustbin liner,cut lens size hole in one corner.
Fit small hole over camera lens and secure with tape.
take open end of bag and place over monitor, secure with tape.
Job done !!
This will eliminate any reflections,enable you to work in daylight and have control  
over
camera settings.
I would use a camera with a Polaroid back to check exposures then switch to 35 mm.

lateral thinking, use your own portable,configurable darkroom.
