Yes: 
He doesn't know about ICC profiles or soft proofing, but works for a company
that has enough money to buy him a Barco. And/Or he's scared shitless about
working in CMYK because he doesn't understand it.
A similar thing can be said about many prepress/scanner operators, only this
time we're talking about RGB.
