Dear list, Ok so I have decied to get some swabs from crown supplies. I don't have the ac adapter. I was normally using the b setting with a cable release. As in theory I am making an exposure, does this do any damage to the chip do you know at all. I don't know if the sensor is off when you use the external power source.
If the sensor is taking an exposure as I an cleaning will that make the ccd charged so making the cleaning operation a negative process. Is there any way to fool the d100 that you are using the external supply when in fact you are using the batteries, so the sensor stays off.
