I use an X-Drive, about 65GBP from www.scan.co.uk without disk, add ~75GBP for a 20GB 2.5" 9.5mm HDD. It's USB, and not quick (~11mins to transfer a 512MB card) but I just chuck it in my bag and let it get on with it while I carry on shooting on another card. It's a bit plasticky but has been 100% reliable, very simple 1-button operation. There is now a USB2 version at higher cost. There are lots of posher, much more costly units with built-in screens etc, but I don't think any of them display .CRW.
