Dear Julian, Yeh I understand that point. I know xp lock onto is it the cpu number or the motherboard number, that's what gives you the problems, is that right. Do you find that Microsoft insist on you buying a new licence ???. Just a note as in the near future I will be ripping my single amd machine apart and putting a dual processor motherboard in, as I have xp pro anyway.
