I have a Cmost back that I am thinking of selling now after buying the EOS
1DS for similar reasons. I find the Cmost is still a superb back when
twinned as I have with the Mamiya 645 afd, but when I looked into upgrading
to Valeo I thought the whole affair was just too clumsy to carry around
(funnily enough I now have an Ipaq on which the Valeo relies for LCD). Pixel
count isn't everything though. I have found that the Cmost is superb for
studio lit portraits with little artifacting and in some respects might even
be a bit better than the EOS. On the other hand the versatility of the Eos
in unarguable.

I have done a fair bit of post production work, not in a hotel room but on
the G4 from remote locations and this is not problematic at all, except
you'd find it useful to use a tablet.

hope this helps,
Hans
