Hi Ian, I am actually not looking for a camera, just making a suggestion for someone who was!
:-) We use the 4040 for studio work, and a D60 for outside. Works great as setup for us, but our work is largely studio. If for major photography for our work, we transport the studio if the mountain can't come to Mohammed. I have printed for owners of 1ds. What I see of the quality is good, but not as big files as the Ixpress or other medium format digital backs. Therefore can't print as big without resorting to GF. Mind you, we use the 16 shot option usually on the 4040.
