Hi Stuart, I did some research on this topic about 18 months ago, and found that Arc-Soft PhotoStudio was hands-down the best stitching software out there. I'm assuming you want to stitch a 6x17 that you've shot with an Xpan and scanned both halves and want to re-assemble them, or similar. If you've shot 2 or more photos with a normal camera and want to stitch them together, then you'll have to find a different tool to accommodate perspective shifting and all the other complexities that get introduced when you need to stitch images of that nature.
I notice PhotoStudio has spun off the stitching component and it now looks like it's shipping as PanoramamMaker. http://www.arcsoft.com/products/software/en/panoramamaker.html Cheers, Derek Cooper www.derekcooper.com -----Original Message----- From: Stuart Baynes Sent: September 3, 2003 2:44 PM Hi All, Looking for information on the following:- Software to stitch photo's together Operating Sysytem>Win XP> and A web site with in depth detail on screen calibration techniques etc. Cheers Stuart Baynes Stuart Baynes Photography www.foodphotography.co.za =============================================================== GO TO http://www.prodig.org for ~ GUIDELINES ~ un/SUBSCRIBING ~ ITEMS for SALE =============================================================== GO TO http://www.prodig.org for ~ GUIDELINES ~ un/SUBSCRIBING ~ ITEMS for SALE
