Hi Stuart, I just picked up this e-mail regarding the 'orange spot' on the DCS14N. Our very first commercial shoot with this camera was a portrait shoot with the Nikon 85mm f1.8 We saw a reddish spot in the centre of the image on every file, thought it looked like lens flare so checked the lens, flagged off all lights and even built a black screen in front of the lens, nothing helped. We've been using this lens for many years on film with no such issues. We then changed to the 105 Micro, no problems at all. We sent a file to the experts at Kodak who claimed that we were seeing lens flare, but we thought not.
