Is there any way of knowing how much ink is actually left in the cartridge of a 1290 when you get the "low ink" Warning. I still seem to be happily printing away with the same cartridge 2 days after getting the warning!
and 2...
do the continuos ink systems as marketed by Marrutt etc need constant use (ie every day) or can they be left, without drying out or otherwise causing nightmares?
