Have just read that Apple has pulled the buggy update known as Mac OS 
X 10.2.8 Build 6R65. Many users reported dead Ethernet, booting 
problems, and other issues. The standalone installer was pulled also.

Having just read the previous posts AFTER installing 10.2.8 I nearly 
had a heart attack.....but everything is workin' fine, ADSL, router, 
net work and Airport all seem to be ok.
