Hi Gordon,

We have recently bought one 20" Photonvision. Design is beautiful. The
clamp works great and the screen seems to float above the desk
amazingly. Calibrated using eye one and seems great. I am finding it a
little difficult to get used to looking at a flat screen for retouching.
Something distinctly different about the 'way' images look. I am finding
it hard to trust what I see compared to a CRT but I am sure this will
pass with time. It seems brighter and more defined than a CRT. No
reflections at all on screen.

Hope this helps you decide which way you will go. I'm afraid I am still
a little unsure if it is better than a CRT...just seems
different....probably better on your eyes in the long term.....and looks
cool as well!

Graeme

I will soon be replacing my existing CRT monitor, and I am considering
the
La Cie 20" Photonvison LCD monitor. Workspace is limited and the La Cie
LCD
would free up some precious space.

Does anyone have experience of using this monitor, and calibrating it? I
have not used an LCD before, and worry about the accuracy of colour
display.

Any feedback on this would be welcome.
