<< One question always leads to another though - when you say that you sharpen through a mask - is this similar to the technique that was described a few weeks ago by Thomas Holm involving a separate layer and blending options? Or is it something else entirely? >> Amanda,
There are many techniques available involving the use of masks and/or layers. Here is an article by Bruce Fraser advocating 2 stage sharpening involving the use of masks: http://www.creativepro.com/story/feature/12189.html And look at the PixelGenius website to find out about a very powerful sharpening tool, PhotoKit SHARPENER, which uses layers (lots of them) and masks. http://www.pixelgenius.com/sharpener/index.html Tim Mimpriss =============================================================== GO TO http://www.prodig.org for ~ GUIDELINES ~ un/SUBSCRIBING ~ ITEMS for SALE
