Shangara is correct ... but just in case his answer still leaves you with
the question ... "why is the monitor profile important?" ... it is used by
Photoshop for "compensation".  That is, all versions of AdobeRGB color space
are the same ... but the colors will appear differently on monitors.  If the
monitors' profiles are use to compensate for the differences, then all
AdobeRGB documents will appear identically on different monitors.
