You could simply move the sliders a bit in (and save this as a setting) scan the IT8. This will make the profiling software see the target as being a different density. And then when you do real scans move the sliders about a bit (probably outwards). Iut will give you higher contrast (more saturation) but not nessesarily more accuracy. BTW. Yes, sort of. The only real way to go about fixing this is to get an IT8 with a higher density (or possibly a HCT target).
