Before I buy are there horror stories regarding archival qualities. Are there any benefits to buying big name brands for example.
Previously I have been archiving scans but now it is digital capture I need to balance the cost against security. Although I also save the RAW on an external HD it would be nice to know the DVD version had some life expectancy.
